sign-up to chose a date(s) and time(s) to commit to pray for El Salvador for the next year:

Intercession for El Salvador

"I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem [and El Salvador!], who will never hold their peace day or night; you who [are His servants and by your prayers] put the Lord in remembrance [of His promises], keep not silence and give Him no rest until He establishes Jerusalem and makes her a praise in the earth.” (Is. 62:6 AMP, italics added)

We know that we are in a spiritual battle, against powers and rulers of this present darkness, and we know that the victory belongs to the Lord, and that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. We NEED to do battle in the heavenlies and we need your help!

We invite you to join the battle in prayer! Sign up below to fast and pray, pray for an hour, pray for 24 hours, pray for one day each month, or once a year - commit to a specific time to pray and help us to have someone praying every minute of every day for the next 365 days (and beyond)!

Here are some of the specific prayer requests:

  • for the ministry that God has called us to, and for those that we work alongside

  • Pray for children who are at risk of being forced into the gangs (especially aged 8-18)– girls as young as 10, but more commonly between ages 13-17 are very often gang-raped, forced to become a gang “wife” or used as a sex slave until she becomes pregnant and then is abandoned or even killed.aged 6-18)

  • pray for gang leaders and members –current, active, and in prisons (pray for your enemies and for those who persecute)

  • The law(s) and lawmakers – especially where these laws affect children, and the ministries which seek to help them

  • The spirit of death (the shedding of innocent blood)

  • Please pray against the spirit of violence

  • The spirit of sexual immorality and perversion

  • The spirit of lying

  • Pray against the dark cloud of death over this nation

  • Please pray for unity among the El Salvadoran people and churches (for Churches to work together in unity rather than competition)

  • For local and foreign workers to "make disciples"

  • For Salvadoran Christians to live lives of holiness, and to live out all aspects of "true religion" (James 1:27)

  • Please pray against hearts of stone, may the Lord open eyes to see the lies of the enemy

  • Please pray for the forth-coming presidential elections (2019), may the Lord bring forth a godly leader

  • For the missionaries in El Salvador, especially against burn-out, for provision and protection, for marriages and families

  • For God to send more laborers – the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few

  • For the 14 Departments (i.e. state or province) in El Salvador, for the cities, towns and villages within each department, for the people living there, the government over each, and against the “princes” of the spiritual realm who rule over them.

“Put on God’s whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

Therefore put on God’s complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

… Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God’s consecrated people).

And [pray] also for me [and for God’s people and missionaries], that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),

For which I am an ambassador in a coupling chain [in prison. Pray] that I may declare it boldly and courageously, as I ought to do.” (excerpt from Ephesians 6 AMP, Italics added)

“He [the angel] told me, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. God has heard everything that you said ever since the first day you decided to humble yourself in front of your God so that you could learn to understand things. I have come in response to your prayer. The commander of the Persian kingdom opposed me for 21 days. But then Michael, one of the chief commanders, came to help me because I was left alone with the kings of Persia. I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the last days, because the vision is about times still to come.” Daniel 10:12-14
